Norwalk Reviewing Crowd Control Protocol After Friday Game

A controversial call angered man fans and led to officials being escorted out by police.

Norwalk will be reviewing procedures for large-scale events after a controversial call at Friday night’s football game at Norwalk High led to a police escort for officials.

A water bottle was thrown from the crowd, Norwalk’s head coach was ejected from the game and game officials were escorted from the field after the crowd stalked them, according to the Norwalk Hour.

The game ended 22-20 in favor of the Crusaders.

A Norwalk school officail said that the school system expects adutls and students to behave with respect and that will e reinforced by administrators.
