Norwalk Schools Closed Friday Due To Expected Snow: District

NORWALK, CT — All Norwalk Public Schools are closed Friday due to expected snow, according to district officials.

The news was announced Thursday around 5:30 p.m. on the Norwalk Public Schools Facebook page.

"Due to the snow storm expected to begin overnight and continue into the morning, all Norwalk Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 7, 2022," the post reads.

The announcement comes as the state prepares for its first widespread snowstorm of 2022, which is expected to begin late Thursday and last through Friday morning.
