McMahon Boys Basketball Drops To 0-3 After 63-54 Loss to Stamford

Like on the football field, opponents of the Stamford boys basketball team nay be seeing double this winter.

Barry and Bryan Boderick, who starred for the Black Knights on the football field in the fall, each scored 16 points Tuesday as Stamford handed a 63-54 defeat.

The Black Knights (1-2) earned their first win of the season the Senators dropped to 0-3.  Last year, McMahon reached the Class LL quarterfinals.

Leading 29-26 at the half, Stamford took control in the third quarter, when it outscored McMahon, 21-10.

Larry McKinney and Andy Mitchell each registered 13 points for McMahon, which held a 23-19 lead midway through the second quarter. Stamford took the lead for good with a 9-0 run.

Shawn Padilla  and Kenny Wright each added 11 points for the Black Knights, who led by as many as 15 in the second half.
