Norwalk's Mace, Schmidt Earn All-FCIAC Field Hockey Honors

After reaching the state finals for the first time in school history, two members of Norwalk's field hockey team were named to the all-FCIAC team.
Earning the honors for the Bears were forward Christine Mace and midfielder Katie Schmidt. McMahon goalkeeer Lili DeRossi also earned a spot on the first team.

In addition, Norwalk's Kerry McCabe and Efthimia Kuturbis and McMahon's Nicole Lue were tabbed for the all-FCIAC East team.
Norwalk, which finished the season with a 15-4-1-0 record, lost to perennial power Cheshire 1-0 in the Class L state championship game.
