McMahon Boys Basketball Looking To Build On First Win, Visits Greenwich

With that elusive first victory of the season finally under its belt, the boys basketball team now looks to build some momentum after defeating defeating New Canaan 53-51 on Friday.
But the Senators (1-6) have a difficult assignment on tap Tuesday when they visit Greenwich, the FCIAC's most improved team.

The Cardinals improved to 6-1 after defeating Wilton 49-41 on Tuesday. Earlier in the week, Greenwich shocked seventh-ranked Trinity Catholic 43-41 on a shot at the buzzer.
The Norwalk boys looks to get back on track after its four-game winning streak was snapped in a 60-40 loss at undefeated Ridgefield.

But the Bears (5-2) also face a tough opponent as they host defending FCIAC champion Bassick (5-2), which has dropped two in a row, including a 72-62 defeat to Westhill on Friday.
The Norwalk girls go for their sixth straight victory Tuesday when they visit winless Bassick (0-9) in a 5:45 p.m.
The Lady Bears defeated Ridgefield 64-48 on Friday and have not lost since starting the season 0-3.
The McMahon girls Greenwich at 5:30 p.m. in a battling of struggling teams.
The Senators (2-7) have dropped six in a row while the Cardinals (1-8) have lost eight consecutive games.
