Norwalk Boys Look To Snap Slide Against Fairfield Ludlowe

The boys basketball team looks to snap a two-game slide on Tuesday when the Bears host Fairfield Ludlowe at 7 p.m.

Norwalk is coming off Tuesday's 79-73 defeat to defending FCIAC champion Bassick and has dropped to 5-3 under first-year coach Tom Keyes.

The Falcons enter the contest at 2-6 following a tough 63-62 setback to Westhill on Tuesday.

It will be Norwalk vs. Fairfield on the court Thursday as McMahon heads up I-95 to play Warde.

The Senators fell to 1-7 after getting routed at Greenwich 72-53 on Tuesday while the Mustangs (4-4) have dropped two in a row after a 63-61 overtime loss at Wilton on Tuesday.

On the girls side, Norwalk goes for its seventh straight victory at Fairfield Ludlowe (7 p.m.)

The Bears have not lost since starting the season 0-3. They are coming off Tuesday's 71-26 rout at Bassick.

The McMahon girls also were victorious in their last game, edging Greenwich 40-38 in overtime. The Senators snapped a six-game losing streak and improved to 3-7.
