Norwalk Boys Basketball Looks To Regroup At Trumbull

The FCIAC cheerleading and partner stunt championships will take place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at Fairfield Ludlowe High School.
There will be 17 schools from the conference competing. The ticket prices are $5 for students and $7 for adults.
The event includes routines performed by full cheerleading teams from the FCIAC along with teams in the Partner Stunt competition.
The event moves to Fairfield Ludlowe after taking place at the Zeoli Field House in Wilton for the past four years.

The Staples boys swimming and diving team defeated McMahon-Norwalk 101-75 on Monday. Staples improved to 4-2 while Norwalk dropped to 1-5.

After getting upset by Wilton on Thursday, the boys basketball looks to get back on track on Tuesday when its visits Trumbull (7 p.m.)
Norwalk's 67-62 overtime loss against Wilton snapped a three-game winning streak and dropped the Bears to 7-4 overall and 5-4 in the FCIAC
Trumbull is 5-5 and 4-4 following Friday's 69-44 setback to Bridgeport Central.
The Norwalk girls basketball team had an eight-game winning streank snapped with a 49-40 loss to Wilton and now has to take on defending FCIAC champion Trumbull. The Eagles are looking to keep pace with undefeated Danbury in the battle for the top seed in next month's league playoffs.
Norwalk (8-4, 6-4) is tied for seventh in the FCIAC standings with Darien and Westhill. The Bears also are one game behind first-place Stamford (7-3) in the FCIAC Central.
Trumbull (11-1, 9-1) is coming off Friday's 64-22 drubbing of Bridgeport Central.
