Three members of McMahon's boys lacrosse team earned first team All-State honors:  Scott McCormack, attack,  Mark Fesenmeyer,  defense; and  Louie DiGiacomo,  first team short stick defensive midfield. McMahon's Gabi Nardi-Huffman was named an academic All-American.

-- McMahon's Thomas Luchars was named to the all-FCIAC boys tennis second team in singles.

-- The Greenwich senior American Legion team defeated Norwalk 4-2 Thursday in an early battle for first place in Zone Four. The win gave the Cannons (6-1) a one-game lead over Norwalk (5-2) in the standings.

Last season, Norwalk edge Greenwich for the Zone Four title with two late wins over the Cannons.
