McMahon's Thomas Luchars, the No. 19 seed, has advanced to third round of the Class LL state tennis tournament.

However, Luchars' next match is against top seed Daniel Hirschberg of Staples, the reigning Class LL championship who has yet to lose a single game in the tournament.

The third-round matches in the Class LL tournament will be played at Hall on Monday starting at 1:30 p.m. followed by the quarterfinals.
