-- Norwalk's Brandon Riggins (189 pounds) will compete in the New England high school wrestling championships which begin Friday at the New Haven Athletic Center. Riggins qualified by finishing third in the state Open competition last week. He also won the gold medal in the CIAC Class LL meet two weeks ago.
-- McMahon's Shellyann Lindo (55 meter dash) and Norwalk's Adam Rubertino (55 meter hurdles) will partipate in the New England indoor track and field championships Friday in Boston. They qualified by finishing in the top six in their events last week at the state Open competition. Lindo won her race with a time of 7.31 and Rubertino finished third (7.75).
