Norwalk 5, McMahon 2 -- With the win, the Bears (8-10)  clinched a state tournament berth.

Baseball

Norwalk 6, McMahon 0 -- James Cooksey tossed a no-hitter with one walk and seven strikeouts as the Bears improved their FCIAC playoff hopes.

Girls lacrosse

Danbury 16, Norwalk 9 -- Parthenya Taiyanides and Christine Mace each had three goals for the Bears.

Boys lacrosse

Norwalk 13, Newtown 12 -- Da'Quan Keel had four goals and two assists for the Bears while Derick Edwards added three goals and two assists.

McMahon 18, Masuk 1 -- The Senators bounced back from their triple overtime loss to New Canaan in a big way.
