As thrilling as it was, the Norwalk baseball team needs to forget about James Cooksey's no-hitter against McMahon on Monday because the Bears face another big game on Wednesday at Ridgefield.

Norwalk (10-6) enters the final two games of the regular season holding down the No. 7 spot in the FCIAC playoff race. The Bears are one-half game ahead of Wilton (9-6) and one game in front of Greenwich (9-7).

The Bears, who play at Bridgeport Central on Thursday to close out the regular season, may need to win their final two games to get in although a split might be good enough to qualify.

Wilton still has three games left. The Warriors host Greenwich on Wednesday, play at Ridgefield on Thursday in a makeup game and finish at home at home on Friday against Trinity Catholic.
