Norwalk Football Seventh In Class LL Rankings
After Friday's big 27-12 win at Ridgefield, the Norwalk football is seventh in this week's CIAC Class LL state rankings.
There are 12 teams in the division with no worse than one loss, including four teams that are still undefeated. That groups includes No. 3 Staples (5-0).

Norwalk is ranked behind a pair of one-loss teams: Pomperaug (5-1) and Glastonbury (5-1). There is a good chance the Bears will be 7-1 heading into their Thanksgiving Day contest against McMahon as their next two games are against Harding (2-4) and Fairfield Ludlowe (0-6)

The Norwalk soccer team (12-1-1, 37 points) has a two-point lead over Darien (11-2-2, 35 points) in the battle for the top seed in the FCIAC playoffs heading into the final week of the regular season.
Norwalk hosts New Canaan on Monday and visits Greenwich on Wednesday. Darien has only one game left - at Trumbull on Monday, which means Norwalk can clinch the top seed with a win over New Canaan. The playoffs begin this weekend.
St. Luke's Teams All Victorious Sunday
All five St. Luke's teams in action on Sunday emerged victorious.
The day started with the boys soccer team defeating Chase Collegiate 4-1 for its first victory of the season. Girls volleyball followed with a 3-1 triumph over Masters, its first FAA win of the fall.
Next in action was the hockey team, which defeated Cheshire Academy 3-0 for its initial triumph of the season.
Girls soccer rolled to a 7-1 decision over Christian Heritage, and the day concluded with the football team posting a 48-13 victory Long Island Lutheran.
It marked the first sweep for the Storm on Homecoming in at least seven years.
