Thursday's football game between New Canaan and McMahon was televised live on MSG Varsity and the fans watching saw a thriller.
Matt Milano tossed a 5-yard touchdown pass to Patrick Newton with less than a minute remaining as the unbeaten Rams rallied for a 36-33 win over the Senators at Jack Casagrande Field.

New Canaan, which trailed all the way, erased a 33-21 deficit in the fourth quarter to improve to 4-0. Milano's 8-yard TD run pulled the Rams within 33-28 early in the fourth period.
It was the second straight heartbreaking loss for McMahon (1-3). Last week, the Senators suffered a 24-21 setback to Staples, giving up the winning field goal with two seconds remaining after holding a 14-point lead in the fourth period.

Damien Vega threw three TD passes in the first half Thursday, helping McMahon build a 27-14 lead at the intermission. He burned New Canaan's defense with a 19-yard score to Zack O'Connor, a 36-yard strike to Chris Jerome and an 80-yard connection with Ryan Scott.
Kevin McDonough's 1-yard TD run pulled the Rams within 27-21 in the third quarter, but Vega threw his fourth TD pass of the game, a 48-yard toss to Jerome that extended the Senators' lead to 33-21.
New Canaan, meanwhile, is finding ways to win. Last week, the Rams trailed Fairfield Warde 14-7 in the fourth quarter before scoring 21 unanswered points en route to a 28-14 victory.
