Norwalk resident Jared Palmer is entered in the men's doubles in the 40-and-over division of the USTA National Grass Court Championships. The tournament takes place Monday through Sunday in Forest Hills, N.Y.
A New York native, Palmer recently moved to Norwalk after living in Palo Alto, Calif., and Stockholm.

After winning the NCAA singles championship at Stanford, Palmer turned professional. He experienced limited success in singles, winning his only ATP Tour title in 1994.
However, Palmer won 28 doubles titles in his career. His best came in 2001 when he captured six doubles tournaments.
