Norwalk's Brandon Riggins won his second straight Class LL wrestling state championship Saturday night at Trumbull High School.
Wrestling in the 195-pound weight class, Riggins defeated Bristol Eastern's Mike Cassin 21-6 on a technical fall in the finals.
Riggins pinned his first two opponents -- Christian Colletti of RHAM in 14 seconds and Robert Tozzi of New Milford in 2:43 -- before beating Cy McIntosh of Bristol Central 9-3 in the semifinals.

With its FCIAC playoff hopes reduced to the longest of long shots, the Norwalk High School boys basketball team concludes its regular season at Danbury on Monday (7 p.m.).
The Bears have dropped two in a row, including a heartbreaking 85-83 overtime loss to Westhill last Wednesday that essentially ended their FCIAC hopes.
Norwalk (10-9, 8-9) is 14th in the FCIAC standings, behind a logjam of five teams, who are tied for ninth at 8-8. A victory over the Hatters would at least asssure the Bears of a winning season in their first year under coach Tom Keyes.
And Norwalk is headed to the state tournament after finishing last season at 4-16.
Danbury (10-8, 8-8) is in that group of five teams that also includes Fairfield Ludlowe, Fairfield Warde, Staples and Trumbull. The quintet is one game behind Bridgeport Central, Greenwich and Stamford, who are all tied for sixth at 9-7.
After a 7-0 start, Danbury has struggled down the stretch, but snapped a five-game losing streak with last Wednesday's 63-46 win over New Canaan.
