The McMahon High School boys basketball team closes out a disappointing season Wednesday when the Senators host Bridgeport Central at 7 p.m.
Expected to contend for an FCIAC playoff spot, McMahon (4-15, 4-13) has just four wins on the season, although the Senators are coming off a 64-62 victory over Staples that likely ended the Wreckers' FCIAC playoff hopes.
In that game, McMahon rallied from a 21-point deficit in the second half to hand Staples a stunning defeat.
