"The detective assigned to the case was advised that the illegal withdrawals were made at two separate Key Banks – one in West Haven and the other in Milford," Westport police wrote in a statement. "Surveillance footage of the party making the withdrawals was obtained and based on that footage Gail Hamilton was developed as a suspect. Additional evidence tying Ms. Hamilton to this crime was obtained."
A warrant for Hamilton's arrest was issued, and she turned herself in at Westport Police Headquarters on Friday.
