Norwalk Woman, Allegedly Drunk, Rams into Police Car, Drives Off: Cops
The woman had a small child in the vehicle with her. Breaking.

NORWALK, CT — A 35-year-old Norwalk woman was arrested on Driving Under the Influence and other charges Saturday night after she rammed into the back of a Norwalk police car while looking down at her cell phone, according to police.
The Hour's Harold F. Cobin writes that after rear-ending the stopped police car on South Main Street at about 10:15 p.m., Brenda Banks drove off and was apprehended on nearby Raymond Street. She had a small child in the back seat of the vehicle at the time, according to police.
In addition to DUI, Banks was charged with Risk of Injury to a Minor, Failure to Drive in a Proper Lane, Evading Responsibility, and Operating a Vehicle with a Suspended/Revoked License. She was held in lieu of a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Oct. 11.
