Norwalk Woman Charged with DUI in Milford: Police

MILFORD, CT — A Norwalk woman is accused of driving while under the influence of alcohol at the time of an accident in Milford, police said. The accused, Anouk Govil, 26, of Eastwood Road in Norwalk was charged on a warrant last week, police said.

Govil is accused of driving her motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol on Aug. 5, 2016 when she caused a motor vehicle accident on Bridgeport Avenue near Lawmen Road, police said.

She is charged with DUI, driving the wrong way on a highway and failure to drive right. She was released on a $500 bond.
