Norwalk Woman Charged With DUI In Westport: PD
A woman failed to stop for a fire truck that was responding to an emergency, police said.

WESTPORT, CT — Police arrested a Norwalk woman for DUI after she failed to pull over for a fire truck that was responding to an emergency July 28, according to police.
The fire truck had its emergency lights and sirens on and a red Subaru failed to pull over on Easton Road. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle, but it continued on Route 15 and eventually stopped on Wilton road after getting off exit 41.
Operator Ann Otto, 70, smelled of alcohol and failed field sobriety tests, police said. She said she had two glasses of wine.

Her blood alcohol content was over the legal limit, police said.
She was charged with DUI, disobeying the signal of an officer and failure to stop on the right side of road.
