Norwalk Woman Charged In Near-Fatal Overdose Case: Greenwich PD

Police said a Norwalk woman is accused of selling drugs to a Greenwich resident, which resulted in a near-fatal overdose.

GREENWICH, CT — A Norwalk woman accused of providing drugs to a Greenwich resident, who overdosed and nearly died earlier this year, was arrested Monday, police said. On June 15, officers responded to a home on Josephine Evaristo Avenue, where they found an unresponsive woman in a bathtub, police said.

Officers began "life-saving efforts" on the woman, whose vital signs were very weak, and determined she was likely suffering from a drug overdose.

Officers quickly administered two doses of naloxone and were able to get a positive response from the woman, police said. She was taken to a hospital, where she eventually recovered and was later released.
