The city's yard waste site will remain closed for more days following this weekend's heavy snowstorm, according to city officials.
NORWALK, CT — The city's yard waste site will remain closed for the rest of the week following Sunday's heavy snowstorm, city officials said Monday.
In a Facebook post around 1 p.m., city officials said yard waste site will remain closed Tuesday-Friday.
The site is currently planned to reopen Feb. 2, according to the city's post.

The weekend storm left piles of snow all across the state, with some areas of Connecticut receiving 12 to 18 inches of snow.
