Norwalk Yard Waste Site Holiday, Winter Hours Released
Here are the holiday and winter hours for the Yard Waste Site in Norwalk.

NORWALK, CT — The Yard Waste Site, located at 15 S. Smith Street, will be closed Saturday, Dec. 22 through Tuesday, Dec. 25, and will reopen Wednesday, Dec. 26 through Friday, Dec. 28.
According to a press release, the Yard Waste Site will be closed Saturday, Dec. 29, through Tuesday, Jan. 1, and will reopen Wednesday, Jan. 2, through Friday, Jan. 4. (To sign up for Norwalk breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Beginning Monday, Jan. 7, the Winter Hours for the Yard Waste Site will be as follows:

- Monday through Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Saturday, Jan. 12: 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Closed Saturday and Sunday
The scale closes for lunch from approximately 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The site may also close due to winter weather and at the discretion of the Department of Public Works. Please visit www.norwalkct.org for additional information about closures.

There will be two Saturdays in January 2019 when the site will be open for Christmas Tree and Yard Waste drop-off:
- Saturday, Jan. 12: 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Saturday, Jan. 19: 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Yard Waste Site will reopen for the Spring Season on Monday, April 1.
