Norwalker Wins Top Prize in Rowayton

Award Winners at Rowayton Arts Center's Spring Juried Show

Michael O’Hara of Norwalk is the winner of the Best In Show award (and cash prize of $250) for his photo, Attention Deficit. His piece was one of over 80 pieces accepted in the exhibition. The exhibition was an open call to artists resulting in a stunning 243 submissions. The juror, Kimberly Henrikson is Interim Executive Director of the Center for Contemporary Printmaking (Norwalk). Of this exhibition, Ms. Henrikson said, “There are some wonderful surprises and exceptional talent. There is something special about each and every one of them.”

Exhibition Chairs are Andrea Letters (Rowayton) and Kathleen Weinstock (Darien). Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday: 11am-5pm. The exhibition will be on view until Saturday, March 31.

For almost 60 years, the Rowayton Arts Center has been a cultural gem in the community. It is an exceptional gallery where regional artists may exhibit and sell their art as well as a wonderful venue for art workshops and classes. The Art School offers classes to children and adults at all levels.
