Norwalk's Highest Paid Public Employees

Norwalk’s highest paid employee made more than $212,000 during 2015.

A list of the highest paid city and Board of Education employees was obtained by the Norwalk Hour. Officer Russell Ouellette took the top spot followed by a police sergeant, another officer and a deputy superintendent.

Listed amounts for police officers include base salary, overtime and extra duty assignments done for utility companies and private security details, according to Mayor Harry Rilling. Pension amounts for police only take base salary into account.
