Obit: Anthony Tardio, 71 Of Rowayton

Anthony “Tony” Tardio, age 71 of Rowayton, CT, died peacefully at Yale-New Haven Hospital on Saturday, October 14. He was the loving husband for over 25 years of Ann Marie Desmond Tardio. Tony was born in the Bronx, NY on February 27, 1946, the son of the late Angelo and Domenica Tardio. He was retired from the New York City Board of Education where he had been a teacher and administrator for many years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 20, 10 AM at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk.

Tony’s family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home on Thursday, October 19, from 4-8 PM. Donations in his name may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN, 38105.
