Obituary: Antonietta Modugno Marmo, 73, Norwalk Resident And Seamstress

The following obituary of Antonietta Modugno Marmo, 73 of Norwalk, is from the Magner Funeral Home:

Antonietta Modugno Marmo, age 73, devoted wife of Luigi Marmo for over 53 years, died on Wed., April 5, 2017 at Norwalk Hospital.

Born in San Rufo, Italy, daughter of the late Domenico and Francesca (Salvioli) Modugno, she was predeceased by five siblings: Michele, Giuseppe, Mario, and Carmelo Modugno and Maria Baldi. Antonietta had worked as a seamstress and loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by their son, Vincenzo Marmo, two brothers, John and Alberico Modugno and 2 sisters, Gina Rinaldi and Assunta Cimmino, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive friends on Monday Apr 10, from 5 to 8 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Tuesday, Apr. 11, at St. Philip Church, 1 Fr. Conlon Pl, Norwalk, with entombment to follow at St. John Cemetery.
