Basilios Poulopoulos, beloved husband of Athanasia, died on Monday, March 14, 2022 at his home in Norwalk, at the age of 91. Born in Kalithea, Greece, the son of the late Kosta and Georgia Poulopoulos, he was predeceased by his siblings.
He had retired as a baker from Pepperidge Farm, was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, and enjoyed debating politics.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Athanasia, daughter Georgia Firman, son Kosta Poulopoulos and four grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews in Greece.
His family will receive friends on Monday, Mar 21, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22, at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 238 West Rocks Rd, Norwalk, with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery.
