She was a loving and devoted mother to her children. She spent quality time with her grandchildren.
Christina C. Grenier, age 80, returned home on Sunday, August 2nd to be with her late husband Norman and will be dancing in heaven with him. Christina was born in Norwalk, January 28th, 1940 and resided in Georgia for the last 14 months. She was a loving and devoted mother to her children. She spent quality time with her grandchildren and was known to be the neighborhood grandmother to all. Nobody was a stranger to her; she loved everyone and was known for her infectious smile, giving and caring ways to everyone that knew her. Christina was survived by her daughters Jane Mauritz, Theresa Goodyear and her husband Billy. She helped raise her brother’s two children Robert Tonini and Vicky Tonini Pagan, as if they were her own children. She is the daughter of the late Lucia and Roberto Tonini and her late siblings Thomas, Joseph, and Roger. She was proceeded by six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 11th at 12:30 pm at St John’s Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06850.
