Obituary: Denise Linda Gilbertie, 48, Of Norwalk

Denise Linda Gilbertie, 48 of Norwalk, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, Aug. 20, 2018.

Born in Norwalk, the beloved daughter of Albert and Elvira (Maratta) Gilbertie, she attended Norwalk Public Schools and was later employed by STAR, Inc.-Lighting The Way.

Denise loved her family, holiday celebrations, music- especially the Beatles, food and ketchup.

In addition to her loving parents, Denise is survived by her sister Dina (Stephen) Phelps of Westport and a brother Richard Gilbertie of Philadelphia, PA; nieces and nephews; Lena, Madison, Jack, Ryan and Katherine.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 23 at St. Matthew Church (216 Scribner Avenue, Norwalk) with entombment to follow at St. John Cemetery in Norwalk.
