Obituary: Doris P. Pollard, 108, Of Norwalk

Doris P. Pollard, age 108, of Norwalk died peacefully at Wilton Meadows on September 8, 2018. She was the wife of the late Ernest O. Pollard.

Born in Norwalk on August 29, 1910, Doris was the daughter of the late Frederick C. and Leila (Brundage) Pennoyer and has lived locally all of her life. She was a secretary for Save the Children for 25 years and also had worked as a dental assistant.

Doris was also very involved with the former Grace Episcopal Church and she loved to play bridge.

Survivors include her son, Ernest O. Pollard and his wife Linda of Southport, NC, 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Doris will be held in December, date and place to be announced.
