Obituary: Felix F. Peninpede, 94, Of Norwalk

Felix F. (Phil) Peninpede, age 94 of Norwalk, died peacefully at Wilton Meadows on Sunday, August 1, 2021. He was the husband of the late Mary Iannitti Peninpede.

Phil was born in Norwalk on August 19, 1926, the son of the late Stephen and Marie Antoinette (Nardi) Peninpede. He was retired from Arnold Bakers, where he had been a shipping clerk. Phil also served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army. He loved to play golf and was an avid NY Yankee and Giant fan.

Survivors include a daughter Carol Peninpede, a son Stephen Peninpede (Marina) and a grandson Eric Peninpede. He was also predeceased by his brothers Anthony, Joseph and Victor, and his sister Mary Delallo.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 6, 12 noon, at St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Ave., Norwalk. Phil's family send their love and many thanks to RVNA, Lauren M. and Chrissy F. for their exceptional care.
