Obituary: Frank B. Lincoln, Jr., 97, Of Norwalk
Frank worked for Life Magazine and was an active participant in road races in the area well into his sixties.

Frank B. Lincoln, Jr., 97, of Norwalk died peacefully at Bridgeport Hospital on Monday, June 3, 2019. He was the husband of the late Kathleen McCue Lincoln.
Frank was born on March 30, 1922 in Rhode Island, the son of the late Frank B. Sr. and Florence Davies Lincoln. He was a graduate of Georgia Tech and during WW II was a physicist for the US Navy. He also worked for Life Magazine and retired from the Hearst Corporation as operations manager.

Frank was devoted to Literacy Volunteers in Norwalk. He loved language and was fluent in Japanese and Chinese. Frank also enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He introduced his children to various sports and never missed an opportunity to watch them complete. He was an active participant in road races in the area well into his sixties. At times as many as six Lincolns would run together in local races.

Frank is survived by his children Frank Lincoln III, David Lincoln, Matthew Lincoln, Laures Thursland, Stephen Lincoln, Kathleen Bajorinas and Keith Lincoln; his sisters Elizabeth Page and Priscilla Wheatley, 19 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 6, at St. Jerome Church (23 Half Mile Road, Norwalk), with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery. There are no visiting hours. Donations in Frank’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assoc., (www.alz.org).
