Obituary: Frank M. Morabito, 66

Frank was the Director of Facilities at Silver Hill Hospital, New Canaan, where he was dedicated to the patients and staff for 45 years.

Frank M. Morabito, 66, of Milford and formally of Norwalk, beloved husband of Patricia Burke-Morabito, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2017. Born in Rochester, NY, he was the son of the late Frank and Emma Morabito.

Frank had a passion for motorcycles and was an avid bike rider. An outdoorsman, Frank loved to hike and tend to his garden. He was an excellent cook and enjoyed traveling. Frank was the Director of Facilities at Silver Hill Hospital, New Canaan, where he was dedicated to the patients and staff for forty-five years. He was a kind, gentle soul who always put others before himself. He will be deeply missed.

Besides his loving wife, Patricia, Frank is survived by his sister, Elaine Stout; nieces, Valerie and Brenda; nephews, Robert, David, Anthony and Chris; brothers-in-law, Roger and his wife Jaqueline Burke, Ronald Burke and David Strong; and many more extended family members and friends. Frank was predeceased by his sister, Marie Strong; and his brother, Anthony Morabito.

Friends and family may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 12, 2017 at Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT 06460. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Silver Hill Hospital or The Fund for Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital at www.givetoynhh.org/donate.
