Frederick J. Hain, 55, a lifelong resident of Norwalk, passed away January 20, 2020
following a long illness. Fred was born on April 19, 1964 at Norwalk Hospital.
He was the son of the late Frederick J. Hain I, and is survived by his mother Janet C.
Hain of Southport, NC.
Together for 17 years, Fred is also survived by his beloved fiancé, Kris A. Holdefehr,
his brother, Gregory L. Hain, his sister, Trish Hain, his niece Tyler, and
nephew Mathew.

A graduate of Brien McMahon High School, Fred was a talented carpenter, avid fisherman,
skilled captain and had a passion for cooking. He was a long-standing member of
both the Ferris Hill Club and Ischoda Yacht Club.
Fred was a loving man with a great sense of humor and immense patience, who will be
remembered for his kind heart and generosity by a multitude of friends and family.

Friends and family may offer their condolences at a memorial service on the evening of
Thursday, January 30th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Hoyt-Cognetta /Raymond Funeral
