Obituary: Gregory F. Kryspin, 59, Longtime Norwalk Resident

The following obituary of Norwalk resident Gregory F. Kryspin, 59, is from Magner Funeral Home:

Gregory F. Kryspin, 59, of Norwalk, died on January 23, 2019 at Cassena Care in Norwalk. Born in Stamford, the son of the late Edmund and Helen (Gawel) Kryspin, he was the beloved husband of Katherine (Hadik) Kryspin for 24 years.

Gregory graduated from St. Basil’s Preparatory School and the University of Connecticut, and worked as a territory sales manager for Fuji Medical Systems. He held a private pilot license and enjoyed golfing. An active member of St. Jerome Church, he was a past ticket committee coordinator for the church festivals. A long-time fan of Eddie Money and his band, he enjoyed music and playing keyboards for church and social parties in Stamford.

In addition to his loving wife, Katherine, he is survived by his siblings; Edmund Kryspin Jr, and wife Cady of Fairfield, Theodore Kryspin and wife Sandy of Fairfield and Dr. Teresa Kryspin and husband Frank Lombard of Southington.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Friday, January 25, at St. Jerome Church, Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery. Prior calling hours have been omitted.
