Obituary: Harriet Stallone, 89, Of Norwalk
She enjoyed gardening, volunteering at church and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Harriet Stallone, 89, formerly from Norwalk, passed away on December 24, 2018 at Maefair Healthcare in Trumbull. She was the widow of the late Paul Anthony Stallone, to whom she was married for forty years.
Harriet was born and raised in Mount Vernon, New York and was the daughter of Harry and Lucy Patiavino Aurisy. She moved to Connecticut in the 1950's first in Ridgefield and then settled in Norwalk where she spent the majority of her life and raised her family.

Harriet worked as an office manager at Silver Hills Hospital in New Canaan, Connecticut as well as volunteered and worked as an office manager at Saint Phillip's Catholic Church in Norwalk, Connecticut. She enjoyed gardening, spoiling and spending time with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren as well as volunteering at the church.
Harriet was the oldest of three children. She had a sister, Lucille, and a brother, Edward, both predeceased her. She is survived by three daughters, Debbie Van Scoy, Kathy Gayle, and Barbara Stallone; eight grandchildren, Lavette Paul Van Scoy, Michael Van Scoy, Jennifer Cruz, Melissa Ventrella, Rebecca Van Scoy, Shaun Gayle, Courtney Gayle, and Steven Meade; as well as nine great-grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited on Friday, December 28 to attend a Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Philip Church in Norwalk and interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. Please visit www.norwalkfh.com to leave an online condolence for the family.
