The following obituary of Norwalk resident "Jack" John W. Somers, 84, is from Magner Funeral Home, Inc.:
"Jack" John W. Somers, 84, of Norwalk, died on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Norwalk Hospital.
Born in the Bronx, he was the husband of Jean (Heim) Somers for 28 years. After serving in the Army in Germany, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 31 years, and enjoyed collecting model cars.

In addition to his loving wife Jean, Jack is survived by his step-daughter Debbie Gentle, a sister Nancy Vetare and a brother William Somers.
