Obituary: Jon Marc Krawiecki, 55, Of Norwalk

Jon Marc Krawiecki, 55, of Norwalk died peacefully at Norwalk Hospital on Wednesday, April 4. Jon was born in Norwalk on July 6, 1962, the beloved son of Beatrice Smith Krawiecki and the late Albert J. Krawiecki.

He was a resident of Lower Fairfield Regional Center and attended the STAR Workshop. He loved animals, especially small dogs. Jon also loved going for rides with friends and family and although he had a limited vocabulary Jon was able to communicate his thoughts and ideas and was very sociable with people who cared about him.

He was fondly known as the “Mayor” of the Lower Fairfield County Regional Center.

In addition to his mom, Jon is survived by his loving sisters Patti-Ann Ball and her husband Richard, Marci-Ann Calabrese and her husband Gary, and Barbi-Ann Krawiecki; his nieces Sadie, Remy and Gina, his nephew Vito and many friends who also cared for him dearly.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 9 at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew Church (216 Scribner Avenue, Norwalk). Jon will be buried with his dad at St. John Cemetery at a later date and there are no visiting hours. Please omit flowers.
