Obituary: Nancy Anne Gaudet, 82

She was a Special Education teacher in Norwalk working at the Kendall School and Honey Hill School.

Nancy Anne Gaudet, 82, of Fairfield, passed away peacefully Monday, December 3, 2018. Born in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Edmund and Grace Forger, she had been a Fairfield resident for most of her life.

A graduate of Roger Ludlowe High School, Nancy received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut and a Masters and Sixth Year in Education from Southern CT State University. She was a Special Education teacher in Norwalk working at the Kendall School and Honey Hill School.

She will be greatly missed by her three beloved children, Lee Wonneberger and her husband, Robert of Milford, William L. Gaudet and his wife Elizabeth of Ansonia and Mark Gaudet and his wife Rebecca of Fairfield; eight cherished grandchildren, Thomas Wonneberger, Katherine Gardner, Daniel Wonneberger, Eric, Alaina and Justin Gaudet; and Meghan and Emma Ellis; two loving great-grandsons, James and Andrew Wonneberger; three sisters, Constance Toole of Edgewater, FL, Chloe Stearns and her husband Edward of El Dorado Hills, CA and Sandra Humphries and her husband Corby Knight of Albuquerque, NM, several nieces and nephews, and her long-time friend and companion David Yoshua. A funeral service will be held Friday, December 7, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal

In lieu of flowers friends may consider a contribution in Nancy’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, FL 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
