Paul F. Harris, 96, passed away at his home surrounded by family in Norwalk on Tuesday, Dec 12, 2023.

Born in Springfield, VT, son of the late Theodore Mineau and Charlotte Harris. He was also predeceased by his wife, Louise (Brennan) Harris, and two sons Timothy and Mark Harris.

A proud veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and Korea, he was a firefighter for over 34 years, and retired from the Norwalk Fire Department.

He enjoyed his family and friends.

He is survived by his son David Harris and his wife Kim of Norwalk, and daughter in laws, Patty and Elaine, along with his cherished grandchildren: Jennifer, Mark, Jonathan, Colleen, Kristin, Fran, Shannon, Paul & Ryan and 15 great grandchildren.

His family will receive friends on Friday, Dec 15 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, 9 a.m., at St. Mary Church, 669 West Ave., Norwalk. Burial with military honors will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
