Obituary: Ryan Joseph Dudek, 24, Of Norwalk

In loving memory of a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. He is survived by his parents Anne Marie and Joseph, sisters Meghan and Caitlin, Grandmothers Rosemarie and Paula, Great Aunts Anne Marie (Big Anne) and Anna May (Annie) and Great Uncles Paul, Stan, and Thomas, Aunts Jean, Therese, Connie, Cathy, Eileen, Uncles Rob, Paul, Tommy, Michael, Timmy, and cousins, Adam and Ali, Ashley, Max, Claire, Casey and Shaun, Thomas, Mary Catherine, Dan, Stephen, Kelly, James, Erin, and the McGrath Family, and of course Rascal. Ryan is preceded in death by his Grandmother Katherine, Grandfathers Erwin Dudek, Don Rice, and Cook Fafinski, and Uncle David Dudek.

Ryan was a Norwalk High School alumni from 2015. He was a President of the Excel Exchange Club and received special recognition. He was a member of the Maritime Aquarium “Dead Reckoners," a teen Maritime program, in 2014.

Ryan was also a Norwalk Youth Mentor, in which he loved helping and supporting children in their studies. Following high school, Ryan entered the U.S. Army, where he went through basic training.

He was passionate about cars, especially Lamborghini’s and Ferrari’s, the Fast and Furious franchise, the New York Giants, and his Golden Retrievers.

Services will be held at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue Norwalk, CT on Friday March 4, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

A funeral mass will take place Saturday, March 5, at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT.
