Obituary : Sukumari John

Sukumari John of Norwalk, Connecticut, passed on July 29, 2021. Sukumari was born on June 10, 1943 In Hyderabad india. She achieved her education in India and graduated with her BSN from Christian Medical College in Vellore. Sukumari worked at the Norwalk hospital for 25yrs and was greatly loved by her staff, Colleagues and patients. Known for being a Nurse who always dispensed comfort, compassion, empathy, kindness and respect without a prescription. She won the outstanding Nurse award for her chivalry and was a woman of faith. She enjoyed being a lifetime member of the Norwalk Methodist Church. Sukumari is preceded in Death by her husband Prabhakar John.

She leaves behind her Son Praveen John, Daughter-in-law Savie ; her 4 grandsons, and two grand-daughters along with families in India Her brother Raju and sister Viji Nakshatram and numerous relatives in India.

God saw you getting tired,

When a cure was not to be.

So He wrapped his arms around you,

and whispered, "Come to me".

You didn't deserve what you went through,

So He gave you rest.

God's garden must be beautiful,

He only takes the best

And when I saw you sleeping,

So peaceful and free from pain

I could not wish you back

To suffer that again.
