Obituary: Susan Louise Cundari, 76, Of Norwalk

Susan was always there for a family member or friend in need, and her witty sense of humor always put a smile on your face.

Susan Louise Cundari, 76, wife of the late Louis Cundari, Sr., of Norwalk passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Toledo, Ohio, on December 5, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Peter Murphy and Eleanor Noyes Murphy.

Susan attended Norwalk Public Schools and then was employed by Oral Surgeons Assoc. where she retired after 40+ years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and pets.

Susan had a passion for cooking and baking and was always there for a family member or friend in need. Her witty sense of humor always put a smile on your face. Although Susan was Irish, she made all quite content with her Italian cooking skills. She adored and had a very special bond with her grandchildren; they could not wait to see what “Grammy” was baking when they came home from school.

Susan is survived by her son Louis Cundari, Jr. and his wife Suzanna of Norwalk; two grandchildren, Marissa Nicole and Louis, III. In addition to her husband Louis, Susan was predeceased by two sisters; Jodelle Ann O’Brien and Patti Jane Birchard. Susan is also survived by sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 20, at 10 a.m. at St. Philip Church, One Father Conlon Place, Norwalk, CT. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk. Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 19, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk.
