Takia Tanya Tamara Dasent was born May 22nd 1986 in the Borough of the Bronx, New York to Cassandra James-Turner and Compton Dasent.
Takia attended Summit Country Day High School in Ohio where she graduated (2004) at the age of eighteen with honors. After graduating high school Takia attended Providence College in Rhode Island. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology in 2008. Upon graduating Takia began employment as an administrator at Third Taxing District in Norwalk, Connecticut. Takia was recently pursuing her master’s degree in Public Health administration at Valhalla Medical College in New York. She also enjoyed many passions such as traveling, long walks on the beach, and culinary arts.
Takia was someone who had a beautiful heart that radiated love. She left a legacy of love and laughter and will always be remembered for her beautiful smile that brightened up any room.
