Odor From Construction Leads To Cancellations At Norwalk School
Local fire officials recommended the cancellation of after-school activities out of precaution.

NORWALK, CT — After-school activities were canceled Monday at Norwalk's Nathan Hale Middle School after an odor from nearby construction was detected, according to district officials.
Students from the middle school were dismissed from nearby Norwalk High School at the usual time, but they were told to leave the building by Norwalk Fire Department personnel "out of an abundance of caution," the district wrote on Twitter.
Nathan Hale will dismiss today from Notwalk High at the regular time, 2:50. Out of an abundance of caution, the NFD has recommended that students leave the building due to an odor caused by construction outside of the building. Students & staff have boarded buses to NHS.
