Officer Struck By Stolen Car In Norwalk: Report
Police said the vehicle was reported stolen from a local residence after it was left running in the driveway.

NORWALK, CT — Police said a Norwalk man was arrested Monday after he allegedly struck a police officer with a stolen car, the Norwalk Hour reported. The vehicle was reported stolen from a local residence after the owner left it running in the driveway and returned to find it stolen, police said.
According to the Norwalk Hour, police said officers located the vehicle on Nostrum Avenue and attempted to arrest Todd Pleasants, 28, who "violently resisted" and ran to the vehicle. Police said the accused struck an officer, who was uninjured, before crashing into a fence.
