Officers Seize Marijuana, Arrest 1 After Search Of Norwalk Vape Shop: Police
Officers made one arrest and seized marijuana and other products after searching a Norwalk vape shop this week, according to police.

NORWALK, CT — Officers seized marijuana and made one arrest after searching a local vape shop Wednesday, according to police.
In a news release, Police Lt. Tomasz Podgorski said officers with the department's Special Services Division and the state Consumer Protection Drug Control Division executed a search and seizure warrant at Smoke House 1 on Connecticut Avenue.
The search was part of an ongoing investigation into non-licensed shops selling marijuana in Norwalk, Podgorski said.

Investigators seized over four pounds of marijuana, several hundred products containing greater levels than the legal limit of THC and approximately $1,500 cash from the shop, according to Podgorski.
As a result of the investigation, Naud Brandon Rodriguez, 26, of Norwalk, was arrested on charges of possession with intent to sell an amount greater than 1 kilogram of cannabis, possession of an amount greater than 1 kilogram of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Podgorski.

His bond was set at $75,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court later this month. Podgorski also noted Rodriguez was arrested last year in New York City and is currently out on bond.
