O'Neill's Restaurant In Norwalk To Host Farmers Market Benefit Event

The Norwalk Community Health Center will hold a farmers market benefit at O'Neill's Irish Pub and Restaurant in Norwalk this month.

NORWALK, CT — The Norwalk Community Health Center will hold a farmers market benefit event at O'Neill's Irish Pub and Restaurant later this month.

According to a news release provided by the health center, the benefit will be held Nov. 30 at the restaurant, located on N Main Street in SoNo, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Those who attend are invited to help the health center's farmers market continue providing access to fresh produce for patients and other area residents, including those who are food insecure.

During the event, if a customer mentions the Norwalk Community Health Center while ordering a meal, O'Neil's will donate 15 percent of each order to the farmers market, according to the health center. Reservations to dine at the restaurant are encouraged.

According to the health center, over 400 food insecure patients shopped at their weekly community farmers market this year. The program is funded 100 percent by donations.
